FASHIONS ON THE FIELD
Welcome, to the glamour of the Mort & Co King of the Mountain Fashions on the Fields Categories Presented by Grand Central Shopping Centre. This years event will host three (3) categories:
Women’s Race Wear
Men’s Race Wear
Millinery
Registration Information:
Registration will be available at the event starting at 10:00 am when gates open. You can find the registration booth in the Grand Central Fashions and Food Precinct, located at the rear of the track near the Mounting Yard. Please make sure to register at the Fashions on the Field Stage before 11:30 am.
To participate, we kindly request a $10 donation to the Carnival’s chosen charity, Maddox’s Helping Hand Foundation. Volunteers from Maddox’s Helping Hand Foundation will be on-site to assist you with the registration process and to accept your donation via Eftpos or Cash on the day.
Please note that each category will have a limit of 50 entrants, and participation is granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Fashions on the Field ID Numbers:
Upon registration, each entrant will be provided with a unique Fashions on the Field ID number. Please be sure to display this ID number during the judging process.
Judging Criteria:
Participants will be evaluated by our esteemed panel of judges, including Andy from Peter Jackson Toowoomba, Susie from Florence and Marabel, and Constance, a local modelling identity. They will consider factors such as seasonal suitability, originality, choice of headwear, accessories, attention to detail, deportment skills, presentation, elegance, and more.
This panel of experts ensures a fair and comprehensive assessment of all entrants’ style and creativity.
Prizes:
The total prize pool is valued at over $10,000.
